Barry was a gracious and entertaining guest who indulged our audience in all of the excitement and competition he faced throughout his decorated career and that famous mountain stage win. Talking of his cycling battles, Barry went into great detail about his professional rivalry with cycling icon Eddy Merckx during the 1960’s and 70’s and how he dealt with the disciplined and demanding lifestyle choices it took to become a top athlete.
Joining Barry Hoban at the event was British Olympic Cyclist, Joe Waugh who represented Great Britain in Moscow for the 1980 Summer Olympics. Joe Waugh also shared his experiences of cycling to our clients and discussed how he has swapped life behind the handlebars of his bike for a more relaxing and fulfilling life.

It’s doubtful whether our clients would want to have the same exercise routine as Barry and Joe did during the height of their careers, but one thing they all do have in common is wanting to live a happy and healthy life now.
